Phone Calls…
I called six people today. I’m not much of a phone person because I become that awkward person on the other end that doesn’t know how to keep a conversation. I blame my childhood.
Anyways, first call left a vmail.
Second, had a semi convo made plans to dine or just hangout in two weeks or so.
Third, left a vmail.
Fourth, spoke to my ex La Bff. Short call, but needed.
Fifth, got hung up. Redialed… It’s my ex El Bff. Moment of truth, shared a few details, apologized, teared up, and had a decent convo which was very much needed.
Sixth, left a vmail.
Trying to fill the gaps, make ammends, and not be missing in action.
To those I did speak to, they were surprised and glad to know that I am alive. So much in so little time. Trying to get my life together day by day. A second, minute, and hour at a time.

I still remember the day I was watching this movie and as this scene came up my mother got so excited due to the song. As she saw what I was watching she just couldn’t believe her eyes. Til this day though… I feel the pain of the character. Yes, suicide is no way out. But just the thought of it. It’s the scary thrill that gets to me. Makes me cry every time.
